All things must come to an end. May it be good or bad, just know it will always end. Souls cannot even exist on Earth for too long. After a while, they will start to deteriorate. All things come to an end—even souls.

 

 I have always found humans fascinating. They need an explanation for everything. They’re not like animals at all. Animals exist, breed, and fight, and what is, is; there is nothing deeper than that. But humans are different. They have this need to know what will happen to them after death. Some believe that the soul will be recycled and that they will be given a second chance. Others think that an omniscient creator will tell them if they are worthy to ascend to better lives. Better lives…I don’t understand that. Their lives don’t seem that bad. Yes, there is something in humans’ lives that creates conflict, but they do it to themselves. They kill each other because one doesn’t act like everyone else. Humans are very fragile creatures. Even the smallest thing, like the death of one human, causes them immense pain. It is peculiar to me. I can never see their wounds, but they act like they have so many. Humans are interesting creatures. I have been watching them for years, but I feel I understand them less and less as the years pass by.

 

The sun awakes from a dreary nap, and the cold has lost its bite, replaced by a warm spring breeze. It is a time for rebirth and life: the birds are chirping, and the flowers are growing. But no matter what time of year it is, there is always someone ready to die...
